In this section we take a look at David Tennant's amazing theatrical history. David has had a highly acclaimed career on the stage and has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. 
His portrayal of Hamlet in 2008 was critically acclaimed and the theatre event of the year. He was described as "The greatest Hamlet of his generation" by The Guardian and when the show transferred from Startford-Upon-Avon to London it sold out in under 24 hours.
 
David Tennant made his eagerly anticipated return to the Royal Shakespeare Company in October 2013 with Richard II. The show is currently in residence at The Barbican in London until 25th January 2014.

Shakespeare's tale of a family reunion.

David Tennant will be Richard II for The RSC
DAVID TENNANT RETURNS TO THE RSC WITH RICHARD II:
David Tennant will return to the stage for the Royal Shakespeare Company later this year in the title role of Richard II.
The play will open at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon on 10th October 2013 and will run untill November. It will then transfer to the Barbican Theatre in London from December 9th 2013.
